We want the whole process to be as fun, exciting and stress free as possible, therefore we have a dedicated design team who will personally support and guide you through every step of the process.
So whether you are planning a new innovative kitchen, a bespoke home office or the walk in wardrobe of your dreams, rest assure we are here to manage the whole process with meticulous detail.
1. GETTING TO KNOW YOU
We believe one of the most important things to achieve in an initial meeting, is to understand the needs of you and your family, as well as how your new space can make a difference. Once we have this foundation, this is where imaginations can run wild. We love sharing the latest innovations as well as unique design features to add the wow factor to any room.
We usually exhibit at a number of shows throughout the year, such as Grand Designs Live and the Home Building and Renovating Show. These are a great opportunity to view our range of fitted and freestanding furniture, as well as talk to our team about your project.
2. PUTTING PEN TO PAPER
The design process normally starts with a discussion in the showroom explaining who we are, what we do and how we work. We then book a consultation for one of our designers to meet you on site, or in the showroom if working off plans. This meeting involves making a wish list, doing a site survey, producing sketches of ideas and getting to know how you are going to live in the room.
We then take the design back to the office to draw it all up to scale, complete a sketch visualisation, or computed generated visualisation for a kitchen design, and provide a full quote. This generally takes 7-10 days, and once complete we will invite you back to our showroom to go through the design in detail, and answer an questions you may have. We can also spend time looking at different options, worktop samples, colours, handles and make any tweaks that might need doing, until you are 100% happy with the result.
3. KEEPING THINGS PRACTICAL
We understand that keeping things practical is extremely important when renovating your home. Your new space should be well thought out and personalised to you. However, we ensure that when designing your new room, practicalities such as utilities are taken into account, and alternative design solutions are offered to achieve a solution you are happy with.
4. SMOOTH SAILING
In order to keep things running smoothly, we designate one person to over see the fit, and we feel it is important that this is the person who completed your designs. Having the same person from the design stage, seeing it through to completion and signing off the project, ensures there is nothing missed. This gives you continuity from design through to finish, as well as a single point of contact should you ever need it or have any queries.
5. THE END RESULT
I’m sure we can all agree that the real exciting bit is seeing the end result finally come together. After weeks of trying to visualise just how your new space is going to look and feel, you can finally see it. For our team there is nothing more satisfying than meeting a customer for the very first time in the showroom, working with them and building a relationship with them to make their dreams a reality. Going back to see a kitchen that has come alive from our paper plans is an amazing feeling, and even though we have an idea of what it was going to look like, it surprises and stuns us every time!
